While Facebook’s main business focus has been advertising, it is now moving more into e-commerce and competing more directly with Shopify.
According to an article by Jeremy Bowman at The Motley Fool, Facebook is the main tool used for online businesses, often used in conjunction with Shopify, and therefore it would be advantageous for it to keep the payments in-house as well.
Facebook previously launched Shops and CEO Mark Zuckerberg spent time on a recent earnings call saying: “Our approach is to work our way down the stack and build world class services at every layer of commerce — starting from discovery at the top of the stack all the way down to payments.”
This could mean that Facebook could develop its own internal system to serve as a brand’s website and fulfill orders, something that until now Shopify does. Facebook, which the report says, is Shopify’s largest source of traffic, could more directly start competing with Shopify and take away some of its business.

Canada has not been as quick to shift to online shopping as the United States but since the coronavirus outbreak, e-commerce has almost doubled since 2019.
Canada’s e-commerce grew by 75% in 2020, with only Argentina beating it with growth of 100.6%, according to a report byInsider Intelligence/eMarketer.
The logistics of sending orders to a population spread across a large land area had limited e-commerce growth in Canada.
E-commerce is set to grow by 12% in 2021 and reach $64.51 billion, almost twice the sales volume in 2019.
However, e-commerce will still only make up 13.4% of total retail this year and is predicted to reach 17.2% by 2020. The U.S. e-commerce market is expected to grow to 23.6% of the retail market by 2025, according to the report.
Walmart Canada said its e-commerce sales grew 229% over the holiday season ending in January compared to the previous year.
A new report says that the coronavirus outbreak led to increasing e-commerce prices, reversing a trend of dropping prices.
Online prices increased by 2.3% in June compared to the previous year, according to the Adobe Digital Economy Index.
According to the report in Forbes, online prices declined 5.2% in 2019 and had dropped by an average of 3.9% per year from 2015 to 2019. So even as overall online spending was increasing, the cost of goods online was dropping.
Adobe collected data from over 1 trillion visits to U.S. e-commerce websites, tracking over 100 million product SKUs.
Shipping and supply shortages caused some of the increases in prices.
Prices offline rose by 5.4% in June since a year prior.
The categories with the largest spike in prices online, according to Adobe, were apparel (up 16%), sporting goods (up 3.5%), and nonprescription drugs (up 4%).
Another week and another amazing winning product recommendation!
This time it’s a super cute dog product that will be a hit during this Summer if you market it correctly. There’s so much potential to this product and all it needs is a good video ad to really explode!
The ad which I’m going to review in this article was so simple, and it still did really well for them. Basically, whatever you’re going to make here is going to be 100 times better than what they did.
So yeah… You should hurry up and test this product ASAP.
As always, you will get a full ad & store review where I point any mistake I find so you can do a better job when you test this product yourselves.
On top of that, you’ll also receive a sale strategy to help you with the pricing and everything else.
Enjoy.
1. The Product
Today’s winning product is this awesome shark life vest for dogs. It’s mostly for small dogs but there are much bigger sizes available so you can market it to all dog owners at once(I wouldn’t recommend that though).
It has become a trend to take your dogs with you to the beach/lake, so I think dog owners would be more than happy to get this product. It’s really cute, and most importantly helps protect small dogs from accidental drowning.
This is a great product with lots of targeting options available for us to test, and you can easily get plenty of engagement if you have a good video ad running.
Don’t wait too much on this product and start testing it right after you finish reading this article ?
2. The Ad
There are two things I want to talk about here regarding the ad they used:
The first one is the video ad, the ad copy, and everything else around it. The second thing is what I think happened behind the scenes like targeting, ad strategy, etc.
First let’s review the video ad:
We have a 19 second video of a cute French Bulldog just chilling next to a pool. I bet he’s tired from swimming and decided to rest a bit, but I really wish we could see that in a video.
As cute as this dog is, this isn’t the right way to sell this dog life vest. If you want a video ad that works, you have to show a dog that swims while wearing this life vest.
The Aliexpress product page in the Ecomhunt product page doesn’t have a video we can use, so it’s our job to ask the seller for a video or just look for one.
It took me less than a minute to find this Aliexpress product page that sells the same exact shark life vest for dogs which has also a great video we can use.
A 30 second long video of a dog using the product we want to dropship, and they even switch to different colored life vest mid video so it’s even better to us.
Edit it a bit, add some text explaining about the product, Show the 2 available colors, and you’re ready to go!
Don’t forget about the call-to-action text at the end of the video with a few words about the current deal you’re running for this product.
TheAd copy:
It looks like they have their own thing here when it comes to ad copies so I can’t really say anything bad about it. If you’re planning to test this product, just remember to introduce product is one short line, add a call-to-action text + link to your store in the second line, and finish it a few extra words about the product or the current deal you have for it.
Example:
“Keep your dog safe and relaxed this Summer with this super cute shark life vest ??
Grab yours here => *store link*
Order now and get 50% OFF + Free Shipping – Also available in different colors!”
And don’t forget about the title of the video which should be a quick call-to-action text, preferably with the current deal you’re running.
Now let’s move on to what I think is happening behind the scenes:
So first of all, we’re talking about a pretty big fan page here with almost 700k likes all dedicated to French Bulldogs. So their way of advertising products is probably mostly organic(they don’t have any ads running at the moment).
I still think they do run ads sometimes on products that show potential, maybe like this one, but they’re quite limited because their page is only about French Bulldogs.
The ad running stage is probably just a simple boost to their own fans which they hope will convert for a normal cost. So they’re quite limited here and I bet they didn’t test targeting other small dog breeds on Facebook.
Corgis, Poodles, Chihuahuas, and other small dog breeds can be easily targeted on Facebook with millions of people on them just waiting for the right product to pop out.
This is why the product post on Facebook stopped on 2.2k likes when it should have at least much more. This product has a potential to go crazy viral with the correct video ad and marketing strategy!
3. The Store
Instead of sending their traffic to a specific product page, they choose to send their traffic to a collection page with plenty of other live vests for dogs.
I find it normal and I believe it’s better for them to send their organic free traffic to a collection page to offer more product choices for their audience. They also probably tested this enough times so I’m not going to say anything about that.
Also their collection page looks REALLY nice, it’s well designed(at least on desktop), and they stick to their Frenchie brand theme which makes the store look more professional.
Quick note:
Their logo is great! It’s simple, yet it looks very professional and you should take an example from this store on how logos should look like.
Things I didn’t like:
If you go to the product page, you’ll notice there are some things missing…
1. No trust badges – There are no trust badges in the product description or anywhere in the product page. These are needed to assure people the transactions on your website are processed securely and there’s no chance their payment info will get stolen.
2. No guarantees – Guarantees are used to calm the customers by telling them everything will be alright. If the product doesn’t arrive, they’ll get a refund or a new product sent to them. If they don’t like the product, then they can get a refund no questions asked. etc…
3. Simple product description – No pictures or GIFs, the same basic fonts, and Aliexpress auto-translated English texts…
The product description isn’t terrible but it can be much better by adding a few pictures or GIFs, and by playing a bit with the fonts to make the text more readable.
And of course, some of the text was translated from Chinese to English so some of the lines are really strange and make no sense at all. A 5 minute work is all it takes to make this product page look really professional!
The life vest isn’t yellow
There’s also a small mistake they made by showing the wrong color which can hurt their sales a bit. Always double check your stuff before launching your ads.
4. Too many sizes(see picture above) – It’s hard for me to imagine owners of large 40kg dogs will be looking to buy a vest like this one. I think you can safely remove the XL and XXL options, I would even remove the L option as well.
If I were to test this product right now, I would have targeted only small/medium dog owners so options like L and above are not needed.
I did like the fact they only offered 2 colors which reduces the time customers take to think. The less unimportant choices you give, the faster your customers will proceed to checkout.
5. The reviews
They stick to their brand by showing only French Bulldogs pictures in their reviews, but the problem is the lack of reviews. Having a small amount of reviews, even if they’re as good as this ones, isn’t that good.
I found at least 3 or 4 extra picture reviews of French Bulldogs on the Aliexpress product page which they could easily add to their product page. And this is only after scrolling the first 3 pages when we have at least 12 more only picture review pages to scroll through.
Make sure to add at least 20 to 30 reviews on your product pages – If you don’t have too many picture reviews to import, then text reviews are fine too.
In our case, we’re not limited to French Bulldogs only so we have plenty of good looking picture reviews we can import to our store.
6. “Customer who bought this” bundle
I personally prefer to close the deal as fast as possible – This means that when I advertise a product, I tend to keep my customer’s focus ONLY on that product.
I do it by sending them straight to the cart page when click on the Add to Cart button, and by not showing them any other products except the product I’m advertising.
This way my customers are focused only on my product and they proceed to the checkout without any interferences.
4. Checkout
Their checkout page is almost perfect! They didn’t forget to put their logo in the checkout page and added trust badges to it which makes their store look even more professional.
The one thing I didn’t like is the fact that the phone number field is mandatory ?
I usually keep this field as optional because some customers don’t like at all giving their phone numbers away. They’re afraid of spam calls and other stuff, so if you force them you can even lose a sale and that’s something we don’t want.
The only reason to force people to checkout with their phone numbers is if you have some sort of SMS marketing plan which will bring back more money than what you’re going to lose from customers who left because of that exact reason.
Shipping:
$9.90 is a pretty steep price to pay for shipping to the US… They’re making a decent profit by selling this product for $39.90, so this expensive shipping price can be a deal breaker.
I bet the amount of customers they lost because of their shipping price is higher than the industry’s average. There’s also no indication on how much time it will take for the product to arrive which can also lower the conversion rate.
It’s good that they have a Shipping information page that tells you exactly how much time it takes for the product to arrive, but this information should also be on the product page + shipping method page.
You can write it in brackets like this “Standard US (7-15 days)” and customers will be more willing to proceed to the payment page.
Payment page:
Nothing wrong with the payment page except for the custom tip table… You just charged me $10 for USA shipping and now you’re also asking for a tip? What’s so special about you to ask me for a tip?
I understand if this was some kind of family store or if tips went for a good cause(I didn’t see anything like that on that page), then it’s understandable and some people will actually tip to support the business.
But asking for tips as a regular dropshipping store, this is just weird to be honest. I think it can irritate some of the customers and push them away too. Who knows…
I personally wouldn’t recommend asking for tips on the checkout page.
5. Sale Strategy
The product cost on Aliexpress is about $10 including shipping and it comes in 4 different colors. I think you can try selling this dog life vest for $34.99 or even $39.99 + Free Shipping.
With free shipping included in the deal, I see no possible issues for this product not to sell for $39.99.
On top of that, you should add a quantity discount bundle as people tend to have more than one dog(especially small dogs). Offer a 10% discount on 2 vests and add an additional 5% discount for each extra item.
Don’t offer anything else other than this product. No random upsells/bundles, just focus on this product and later you can sell them more dog stuff if this goes well for you.
To Sum It Up:
This product looks like a total WINNER with a chance to go super viral on Facebook & Instagram. You have a good video you can use to prepare a stunning video ad for this product, and there’s plenty of interests you can target to find small dog owners.
Don’t sit on this product and launch your ads right now.
Good luck!

Example Snapchat "snap" on a smartphone. (Credit: Anteri Viinamaki, Wikipedia)
Snapchat ads are a little talked about alternative to Facebook ads and many brands are using the social media platform to promote their products.
Shopify released a complete guide for advertising on Snapchat in 2021 this week which explains how the ads work and if they are the correct platform for your business.
Here are some of the key takeaways:
You can launch Snapchat ads for as low as $5 per day.
The media platform serves a younger audience with 280 million daily users (84% are under 35), and it is relatively new and unsaturated compared to Facebook.
Snapchat ads are cheaper than Facebook and Instagram.
Like Facebook, Snapchat allows you to target users based on demographics and interests.
The platform allows for image or video ads as well as other options such as stories and dynamic ads which push ads to people based on actions (like abandoned carts) or page views on your website.
Don’t reuse Instagram ads on Snapchat. Instead, try to create content that is mostly entertaining with 20% pushing your products.
Snapchat ads are best if they are deemed natural and real.
Bottom line: Snapchat is a useful platform for both large and small e-commerce stores.
Twitter is going to start testing a shopping option at the top of the profile pages for businesses, the company announced on Wednesday.
Twitter said that in the past it had explored offering shopping but never got around to it, until now. “We’re back and putting more energy into testing out the potential for shopping on Twitter,” the social media company said.
As part of the testing phase, they launched a pilot of the Shop Module – “a feature that allows us to explore how shoppable profiles can create a pathway from talking about and discovering products on Twitter to actually purchasing them.”
The Shop Module will appear at the top of a profile where a company can show its product. If this shopping function will be enabled it will be possible to scroll through various products and tap on one to learn more or purchase without having to leave Twitter.
The pilot will start only with a small group of brands in the United States on iOS devices.
Facebook began offering a shopping feature last year.

Ecomhunt's Trending Product Suggestion - Sell This Awesome Summer Baby Stroller Fan Right Now + Ad & Store Review And A Sale Strategy!
Another week and another amazing winning product recommendation!
This time I found you the perfect Summer product every parent out there will HAVE to buy for their little ones. And the best thing about this product is that it’s only beginning to explode on Facebook, so you have plenty of time to market it better than the original seller and make some bank!
As always, you will get a full ad & store review where I point any mistake I find so you can do a better job when you test this product yourselves. On top of that, you’ll also receive targeting suggestions and a sale strategy.
Everything you need for a perfect product test is in this article!
Enjoy.
1. The Product
Today’s winning product is this really cute baby stroller fan. Summer is here and it’s getting hotter and hotter with each year, so people are always looking for that one product which will help them cool off a bit.
This one here isn’t designed for adults but for babies which makes it even more a MUST HAVE product to get this Summer. Parents will still have to go for a walk with their babies and this fan is going to help them protect their little ones from the scorching heat of the Sun.
This fan is pretty small so you can carry it with you, and you can attach it quickly on a stroller or on a car seat. A pretty cute and handy little fan makes this product a winner and a must test product for any dropshipper out there!
One thing you will have to check before selling this fan is if it’s baby safe
It looks like some have concerns that the baby can still put their finger through the fan. If that’s the case, then DON’T advertise this product as 100% safe for babies. Parents are not stupid and they’ll make sure to keep the fan away from their children if it’s not safe for the fingers.
Play it safe and don’t promise something you can’t deliver – Parents will still buy this product no matter what ?
2. The Ad
The ad is a bit boring to my taste. The music is calming, which is fine, but the only thing you see is the fan getting hanged on different surfaces. No smiling kids with parents, no extreme heat references. Nothing that could actually sell this product much better…
If you plan to test this product, make sure to find videos of kids/parents smiling and look for a way to show how bad the heat is and how this product changes the sweating & crying into smiles & laughter.
And you can also make the music a bit more jumpier/happier in order to upgrade the video even more!
Ad copy:
It looks like a bunch of random words even though it’s all about the product. I feel like I’m reading an Aliexpress title and not an ad copy which should explain quickly about the product and ask me to buy the product.
A better ad copy example:
“Keep the Summer heat of your little ones with this amazing portable stroller fan ?
Grab yours here => *store link*
Order now and get 50% OFF + Free Shipping – Also available in different colors!”
And don’t forget about the title of the video which should be a quick call-to-action text, preferably with the current deal you’re running.
Another issue I had with the video is the description text inside it which isn’t the best. You can try and explain a bit more about the product in detail and without typos, and also add a call-to-action in the end of it.
Something simple as “Click the link in the description to orders yours!” is enough.
Their ad library:
Jumping to their ad library, I noticed they launched 23 extra ads for this product and that means it’s definitely working for them as of now. I suggest you don’t wait too much on this product and get to testing right after reading this article.
3. The Store
I really like the fact the first pictures you see when clicking the website is a kid in a stroller with a fan on him. Instead of using a regular product image, he made sure to use one with a kid in it to make the customers connect even more with the product. Later when clicking on the different colors available, the regular product will be shown which is fine.
Always choose the best available picture as your main one to make your customers connect even more to your product and you’ll definitely see a boost in your conversion rate.
Things I didn’t like:
1. No logo – You can easily make a cute little logo for this store for free or for a maximum cost of $10. Every store, no matter if it’s a niche store or a general one, needs a logo so make sure you have one on your dropshipping store.
2. No visible discount – The seller is selling this product for almost $30 and he also charges shipping. Customers love discounts and it doesn’t matter if it’s a real or a fake one, just add an original price and show customers how much they are saving.
3. The description on desktop – The pictures are too big and the text is barely visible.
Even though on mobile(which is the main traffic device these days) it looks, I still advise checking all other displays because there are customers out there who shop on their desktops.
As you can see, the description on mobile is normal
4. Some of the text(both on pictures and in the description) are auto translated from Chinese to English
You can easily edit the picture above in photoshop and use your own text instead.
5. The reviews
Reviews are an absolute must for any product you test and they do have them on the product page, but the chosen template isn’t the best and the amount could be bigger. The chosen template should be one that shows bigger pictures by default and the amount should be at least 20~30 to make your store look more legit.
This one app looks like Alireviews(not 100% sure about it) and I know for sure that they have a much better looking review template you can use where the pictures are bigger. And for the amount of reviews:
There’s plenty of them available to import for Aliexpress, both text and picture ones, so invest another 10 minutes and import at least 20 of them. Trust me, it will make your product page look much better!
6. You may also like section
I don’t think it’s smart to add more product, especially ones without a real connection to the one you’re already advertising, on the same product page for people to look at. The chances of someone actually picking one of these as an extra product is extremely low.
It’s better to keep their attention on your product and close the deal as fast as possible. Once you get a sale, you can later advertise any product you like to your already existing customer.
Other than that, it looks fine to me and the mistakes I found aren’t that big to cause a bit reduction in sales.
4. Checkout
There’s no logo both on the store and on the checkout page. Like I already said, it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to make a decent logo for this store which you can upload later also on the checkout page(preferably with trust icons next to it).
Another thing I didn’t like on the checkout page is that there are no policy pages displayed below. You can generate these pages in your Shopify store’s settings and they’ll later appear on the checkout page as well.
They also don’t include phone which is fine but I suggest adding it as an optional field. Sometimes the shipping company has trouble finding the address, or maybe the customers were away on delivery date, so they usually call to schedule a different delivery date(or if they have some important update regarding the package).
Shipping:
$8.95 is a pretty steep price to pay for shipping… I would’ve lowered it to $4.95 or increase the product price + offer free shipping. I have no way to know the store’s conversion rate but I’m pretty sure the shipping price makes some people instantly leave the store.
Other than that, everything else looks fine to me.
Payment page:
Nothing wrong with the payment page. Both credit cards and PayPal are accepted and these options are what most customers prefer.
5. Sale Strategy
The product cost on Aliexpress is almost $19 including shipping and it comes in 3 different colors. I think you can try selling this fan for $34.99 or even $39.99 + Free Shipping – When it comes to parents, they don’t really care about the price as long as it helps and as long as it works.
Take your time and create a stunning video ad for this product and make sure everything else on your store is in good standing to get the maximum conversion rate possible.
Don’t offer anything else other than this product. No upsells, no bundles, just focus on this product and later you can sell them more baby stuff if this goes well for you.
Quantity discounts are optional
I don’t see a scenario where parents buy more than one fan but who knows… It won’t hurt you to offer good quantity discount for 2 pieces and test it out.
To Sum It Up:
Looks like the original seller is increasing the number of ads his running for this product so don’t wait too long and start selling this product now. All you have to do is to create a better ad, make sure you don’t make the same mistakes, and sales will pour in!
Good luck!

Product & competitor research is a complex process and it can be very time consuming if you do everything manually. So if you’re a dropshipper looking to up your game, then Ecomhunt is a must!
But what if you have no clue about dropshipping? Fortunately for you, we have you covered with EVERYTHING you need to know completely for free!
Ecomhunt is suited for both advanced dropshippers and complete beginners – If you have no clue how this business operates, we will take you hand by hand and teach you everything you need to know about dropshipping.
It may see complicated at first, but it really isn’t once you dive into our free e-books and all of our other sources. We have step-by-step guides with plenty of pictures for everything and replicating what you see will be a piece of cake.
And if you’re more of a listener than a reader, our Youtube channel is filled with videos to get you started! I’ll cover everything in this article to make it easier for you to navigate between all our free sources.
First you need a store:
To sell something online, you first need to have a place where customers can come, check what you’re selling, and eventually buy your product if they like it. The way most dropshippers do it is by building their own online store and listing their product there.
There are plenty of companies that offer to build for you an online store, but our preferred choice, and in our opinion also the best one, is to build an online store on Shopify. Why? Because it’s beginner friendly and has almost no need in custom coding.
With Shopify, you don’t need to worry about store’s loading speed, security, compatibility, and other complicated stuff beginners(and even experienced sellers) will find super hard to deal with.
To build the perfect Shopify store, and to setup it the best way possible for maximum conversions, you will need to follow the instructions found on our free Dropshipping made Simple e-book.
This e-book has absolutely everything you need to know about Shopify and how to build it completely from scratch.
The best part of this guide is that it’s very cost efficient and you won’t be needed to spend hundreds of dollars on unnecessary designs, or install useless Shopify apps that only cost you money. Every small detail is covered with screenshots to show you exactly what to do to setup your first 100% optimized Shopify store.
And as a bonus, you will also learn our ways on finding your first winning product to list on your new store and how to plan your campaigns for maximum results. This is by far the most detailed e-book about Shopify store setup you will find online so make sure to grab it!
Now, if you’re more of a listener and would like to watch a video rather than read the whole e-book, then we have the perfect video series you’re absolutely going to LOVE!
This video series was created by Mordechai Arba who is also the CEO of Ecomhunt, and in his videos he will show you how to build your own one-product dropshipping store from scratch. It covers the same stuff our e-book has and the actual product he tested, the video ads, and the actual Facebook campaign.
This whole process is transparent and you will get to see all the little tweaks and optimizations made to the store, the actual ad created for the product, and the campaigns + the results he got back – Spoiler alert: this product made sales and was profitable!
The only difference between the e-book and these videos is that the videos focus on a one-product store and not on a general/niche store like in the e-book. One-product store requires a bit more investing into branding, designs, and getting a special domain name as it revolves around one product we choose to sell.
All the other stuff are the same for all type of stores so this video series covers it all and even more than the e-book ?
Next is getting traffic to your new store using Facebook ads
Facebook ads is the preferred choice by most of dropshippers to get traffic to their stores. It’s really simple to use, has no minimum daily budget, and Facebook does a good job on finding us the relevant people for the products we sell.
Still, you have to learn and understand how to launch your campaigns because there are a lot of mistakes you can do that will just burn your money away. So to make sure you don’t waste your money, we have an excellent e-book that will teach you everything you need to know about Facebook ads.
Our ultimate guide to Facebook CBO ads e-book will show you how to setup and launch your first ad campaign the right way. You will also find real examples from our own campaigns and 4 testing methods to mix it up a bit if one doesn’t work.
Why is it important to try different testing methods?
Each ad account behaves differently and what works best for us isn’t necessary going to be the same for you. That’s why it’s important to keep testing different methods till you find the one that brings you the best results(Same goes for scaling techniques which are also covered in this e-book).
It’s also important to know how to use Ecomhunt and all its features to find the best products to sell
Even though we cover finding winning product on our Dropshipping made Simple e-book, there’s still a lot more to learn about the right way to use Ecomhunt and its features to find the hottest, most trending products to sell.
This e-book was made to educate our users on the right way to use Ecomhunt and to maximize its full potential to never miss a winning product again. Our Ecomhunt on Steroids e-book covers all the special methods used by us to make sure no winning product is left behind.
Methods like searching on the old pages for old winners and launching them again on the right time, the correct use of all our apps & features, and more.
This e-book is a must because it covers a lot more about finding products to sell than what you can find on our Dropshipping made Simple e-book.

3 Hot Products I Found Using Ecomhunt's Newest Features - Ecomhunt LIVE, Ecomhunt Lucky & Ecomhunt Adam
In this week’s article, I decided to remind you about Ecomhunt’s amazing tools & features that are here to help you make more sales and save a lot of time in the process.
For that, I have found 3 trending products with the help of Ecomhunt LIVE, Ecomhunt Lucky, and our newest feature Ecomhunt Adam. On top of that, I will also give you targeting suggestions for each product, sale strategy, and general tips to help you make the most out of these products.
I also show my own method of searching for products using these 3 features so make sure to check it out to not miss a thing!
Enjoy.
1. Magnetic Beer Bottle Opener – Ecomhunt Adam
The first product on our list is this awesome magnetic beer opener found using Ecomhunt Adam. There’s nothing better than an ice cold beer in hot Summer days so when this product was shown on Adam’s feed, I just had to pick it up and recommend it for you guys.
This product doesn’t really solve a problem but it does have that WOW effect which will make anyone on Facebook to stop scrolling. All you have to do is to create a good video ad around this product and your ad will definitely blow up. Fortunately for you, you can find plenty of pictures and an amazing video you can use to create some stunning looking ads.
This product was found on Adam simply by doing a random search with only one active filter which says that the product must have at least 20 daily orders:
This is my favorite way of searching for products on Adam because you can never know which product Adam will recommend you to sell. This beer opener is getting more than 100 daily orders and people are absolutely LOVING it!
Selling Strategy:
You can try selling a single unit for $19.99 or $24.99 + Free Shipping and offering quantity discounts. If you sell one piece for $19.99, you can try selling 2 pieces for $29.99 and 3 pieces for $39.99. If you market this product correctly, you will have no problem selling for these prices.
This is the kind of products that can suddenly go viral or at least convert at a much lower price than average, so you still have a chance to make some profit even when the margins are pretty low.
Targeting:
The first option you can try is using the regular alcohol related interests like Beer, Alcohol, and combine it with interests like Parties/Bars to get those who really like to drink. This is also a cool mancave accessory so feel free to add a few mancave related interests to the mix.
Targeting suggestion #2:
This one is what I call going by the book – A few popular beer brand interests mixed up and Facebook will definitely find the right audience for you. You can put all these in a single layer or even layer it down to find the “hardcore” beer drinkers ?
2. Inflatable Car Mattress – Ecomhunt LIVE
The second product on our list is this inflatable car mattress found on Ecomhunt LIVE. I think this is the perfect road trip/camping product which allows one person or a couple to rest in their car without a need to carry and setup a tent.
The aliexpress link I gave you is for a collection of all the available car mattresses just to show you the variety available on Aliexpress. And the best thing about this product is the profit margins which are HUGE!
The average price of the mattresses on Aliexpress is about $35 and we can easily flip them on our stores for $59.99~$69.99, or even $79.99. This is a great profit margin and people will have no problem paying this sum for a such a premium looking product.
Targeting:
The first targeting options that comes into my mind is targeting travel related interests and preferably ones where a car is often involved. In our case, the Road Trip interest is just perfect and combining it with Travel interest is enough to get you started.
There’s plenty of other travel related interests you can use so feel free to test them.
Targeting suggestion #2:
For the second targeting suggestion, I thought who might also really need this product? Maybe someone who’s job is to drive all day? I think it’s worth a try so for I decided to pick up drivers and for this I used interests such as Uber and Lyft.
Uber/Lyft & Taxi drivers work insane hours and also work in the night so this mattress could be a good product for them when they need to rest a bit. It will take them a few minutes to inflate our mattress and they can at least rest comfortably in their car.
Don’t forget to use the data offered by Ecomhunt LIVE:
For each trending product on Ecomhunt LIVE, you get data which should help you prepare a better selling strategy. As you can see, this mattress is trending the most in the US but Australians and Canadians seem to like it as well.
So instead of targeting USA by default, you can get ahead of your competition and target Australia or Canada. This way you’ll have much less competition to deal with and you may even get cheaper conversions. When every dropshipper out there is targeting USA, be smarter and target a different country!
3. Baby Water Mat – Ecomhunt LUCKY
The last product on our list is this cute baby water mat found with the help of Ecomhunt Lucky. Nothing works better than a cute baby product that also helps with the development of their little ones. I’m definitely feeling lucky today because this product, if marketed correctly, is going to sell like crazy this Summer!
It’s also really simple to find parents with infants on Facebook so the targeting part is going to be a walk in the park. All you have to do is to create a really good ad that shows why this product is good for their babies, and create a good product page around it.
Selling strategy:
To find this product on Ecomhunt Lucky, I just left one single filter which is the high profit margin. I always like to sell product with a high profit margin because it gives me much more room to breathe under the constant rise of ad costs on Facebook.
As you can see, this product is selling really well in Poland so I would suggest targeting Poland on top of the regular countries like USA, CA,UK, etc. The price on Aliexpress is about $8 including shipping, so we can sell it for at least $29.99 or even $39.99 + Free Shipping. When it comes to baby products, parents won’t care about the price as long as it helps.
I suggest selling only the square shape as it seems to be the most popular – Even on Amazon, they sell only the square shape. And don’t forget about quantity discounts to increase your AOV!
Targeting:
As I said, targeting parents with toddlers is really simple with Facebook – Just search for Parents interest and choose the children’s age which in our case is 0 to 2 years. You can combine both interests together or test each one in a different adset. You can’t get more accurate than this one.
Targeting suggestion #2:
The second option is less accurate one – It’s a simple combination of baby related interests but it doesn’t guarantee our ad will be seen only by parents with toddlers. You can test it out but I suggest keeping the main testing budget on the Parents interests.
To Sum It Up:
And just like that, I was able to find 3 amazing HOT products in less than 15 minutes. On top of that, I also get super valuable data I can use to perfect my selling strategy and get ahead of my competition. Don’t wait too much on these and test them out before other dropshippers jump on them as well!
All these amazing features & apps Ecomhunt develops are here to help you make more sales and save a lot of time in the process. These tools are all included in the Ecomhunt Pro plan so make sure to use them to find your next winner.
