Aliexpress Product Suggestion - Sell This Awesome Travel Neck Pillow + Targeting Suggestions, Selling Strategy & More

Another week and another awesome product recommendation from Aliexpress!

This time I decided to focus on the more trending products right now on Aliexpress, which are the Travel products. As you already know, COVID-19 is slowly backing down and countries such as Israel, UK, and other European countries already managed to suppress the virus.

People are getting their lives back, most of us are called back to the office again, and we can expect this Summer to be almost as normal as it was before the pandemic. This is why I think that selling Travel products right now is the right thing to do.

People can’t wait to finally travel and get their nice vacations back, and if you offer them some cool travel products, it’s definitely a guaranteed sale for you. All you need is the right travel product, a good ad, targeting, and you’re good to go!

Fortunately for you, you won’t need to look for a product because I had already found 2 amazing products you can sell. On top of that, you will also receive targeting suggestions, selling strategy, and some extra awesome tips.

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

1. The Product

This neck support pillow isn’t something new in the market and other variations of the same product have been sold before. The reason I recommend you this product is because the whole Travel product industry is trending right now on Aliexpress and you can easily sell old products if you market them correctly.

(When I searched for travel products 1-2 years ago, I honestly didn’t find this product you see right here so maybe this version is pretty new.)

So this product isn’t something new or revolutionary but I still decided to stop on it and recommend it for you – Here are my reasons:

1. The Travel niche is trending – As I already said, the whole Travel niche is trending right now and now’s the right time to find your winning Travel product and make some bank.

2. Easy to target – Facebook has a few really good interests we can use to find EXACTLY the people we need. Other niches require a lot more tests to find the right audience so this one is going to save us some money on tests.

3. Lots of products to choose from – Last but not least is the amount of products available for us to dropship. Even if this one product doesn’t do well, you can quickly pick up a different product from Aliexpress and try it again. Who knows… Maybe you’ll find a much better product from what I recommend here 😉

By the way, here are 2 more products I think can sell really well:

This neck pillow with a phone holder:

And a different version of the one above, suited more for children:

This could sell really well as Travel accessories for both parents and children, and there are plenty more products on Aliexpress. When we get to the targeting suggestions, I will make sure to show you targeting options for all the pillows above.

2. Selling Strategy

In the Aliexpress sale page, this product is priced at $24.99 without shipping which makes it quite expensive. In my opinion, this one sellers is trying to profit from dropshippers so I suggest finding a different supplier. If you can’t find a different supplier, consider trying services such as CJ or Yakkyofy where they can source the same product for probably a cheaper price and better shipping options.

This looks like a quality products so I believe you can try and sell it for $49.99 + Free Shipping. If you go lower than that(at $25 base cost), there won’t be too much room for profit so make sure you have it all figured out before you launch this product. You can always search for a similar product and maybe find a much better deal.

The two pillows with a phone holder are priced somewhere from $19.99 to $22.99. The children’s one has an additional shipping fee and the regular one has a free shipping option – Both can easily sell for $49.99 or even $54.99 + Free Shipping.

Offer quantity discounts to increase your average order value:

The price we see is for only one piece and it’s possible that people will be looking to buy 2 pieces or more(Family vacations). Offer quantity discounts to get more from your customers – A 10% discount for 2 pieces is a fair deal.

I suggest keeping it clean and not offering any bundles – Keep your customers focus on the product you’re selling to close the deal as fast as possible.

Later, you can find plenty of other products to offer and you can use retargeting ads or email marketing to sell more to your already existing customers. Keep your page clean, offer quantity discounts, and that’s it.

3. Targeting

Targeting is pretty simple for this niche – You can use interests such as Frequent Travelers and get exactly those who travel quite often OR use a few leisure interests and find even more relevant people who will buy your product.

I suggest using the Frequent Travelers and the Frequent International Travelers first, you can mix them up into 2 adsets, and playing a bit with the ages and genders. Mix it up and you have 4-5 good test adsets.

Here’s another targeting suggestion using the regular interests:

Lots of interests you can use – You can layer it down like you see in the picture above or use one single interest per adset. Both options should work really well with the right product and a good ad.

Don’t forget about companies such as Booking & Trivago which can be targeted on Facebook and have pretty big audiences. People use these companies to book their hotels and flights and they’ll be looking to buy one of your pillows.

If you’re looking to test the children’s travel pillow, the targeting is even simpler:

All you have to do is to add an additional layer where you make sure only parents with small children see your ad. It’s a really nice pillow to keep kids busy and more comfortable during flights and even in a car ride so I suggest testing this product as well.

Let me know if you have better targeting suggestions in the comments 🙂

To Sum It Up:

The Travel niche is on FIRE right now and people can’t wait to get out of their homes and finally have a nice family vacation. Don’t miss your chance and test at least one of the recommended products in this article.

Don’t waste time and be one of the first ones to jump on this niche before all the other dropshippers join the party!

Good luck!

Ecomhunt's Trending Product Suggestion - Sell These Flowery Sandals + Store, Ad Review & Sale Strategy!

Another week and another amazing winning product recommendation!

And this time we’re back again with another Summer sandals pair for women. Summer sandals are EXTREMELY hot right now on Facebook and women are buying them out like crazy! Almost every Summer sandals I found on Ecomhunt has an amazing engagement, so don’t wait too long and find your own unique pair to sell now.

This time there weren’t too many mistakes done by this seller, but there’s still stuff they could’ve done much better. Pay attention to what I’m about to say in this article and make sure to catch all the small tips I give here to make even more sales than what they’re doing now.

Like always, I’m going to review the ad, the store, and basically everything there is about this product and give you valuable tips so you can take this product to the next level. Or you can search for other Summer sandals on Aliexpress and find your own unique pair to sell.

Summer sandals are so HOT right now so be quick about it and launch you ads right now!

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

1. The Product

Today’s winning product are these super cute flowery Summer sandals for women. Summer is almost here and women everywhere are looking to buy some stylish and comfy Summer sandals. Based on the engagement these sandals are getting on Facebook, I can safely say they are a hit and you won’t have trouble selling them.

All you have to do is to launch a fresh new ad, have a good store and product page built around them, and launch your ads. Fortunately for you, you will know exactly what to do as I’m going to walk you through the whole process 😉

2. The Ad

The ad is a really simple – You have a few product photos of the sandals and the different available colors. A few marketing tricks showing how comfortable and breathable they are, and a promise about bunion correction which I didn’t really like.

These sandals are REALLY nice and comfortable, so I don’t see a reason to invent additional features like bunion correction + adding an animation to it. Just stick to the regular “breathable and comfortable” features and you should be good.

Other than that, I liked the music and some of the animation effects are pretty cool. If you can find real footage of woman walking in these sandals(or similar ones), this could really help you upgrade your video ad. Try messaging the seller and asking for a video – There’s a chance he might have some videos of the product he didn’t release.

The ad copy:

I don’t really like their ad copy… They market it as if these sandals are some kind of therapy product. I would just go with a simple ad copy saying how good looking these sandals are and list a few of their features.

For example:

“Looking for the perfect sandals to wear this Summer? Then check out these stylish comfy sandals ?

Get yours here => *store link*

Soft, comfy, and made from premium breathable materials which will make you feel like walking on clouds. Available in different colors, shop now!”

Simple, without crazy promises, and enough to get them click on your ad and buy(also protects you better from Facebook’s ban hammer).

When the product was first posted on Ecomhunt(6 days ago), it had 12k likes:

Since then, it had gained another 1k likes and a few more comments. It ain’t much considering this ad is running since April 14th, so I decided to check what’s going on with their ads and if they’re still going strong selling these sandals.

Now take a look at their ad library:

As you can see, they have another ad that was launched just a week ago and it has already 372 active ads. This means that they’re going SUPER strong and probably scaling the hell out of these sandals.

And here are their active ads from April:

They still have 145 active ads running since April and they’re even testing other sandals to see if they can catch another winner. This is just to show you that these sandals are selling really well for them, so don’t waste too much time and start selling them too.

Overall, the ad is pretty good and I think they did their best with everything they could use. As said, try asking the seller for videos or new pictures to use on your own ads for this product. Also consider launching regular photo ads as these still work and could get you even better results than a video.

And please avoid leaving these type of comments on your ad:

It’s good that they engage with their audience, but it can scare a other customers away when you say that the goods don’t arrive. The first thing people will read is “not received the goods for a long time” and next they’ll see an angry emoji followed by 13 replies.

This isn’t ideal so just write something like “If you have any issues with your order, please send an email to our support team”, or just don’t write anything that could make people think there are shipping issues.

3. The Store

The store has that minimalistic look every other store has right now. It’s fine but I think the logo could have a better design.

They offer 5 color variations though I think the brown color, which is the first one people see, isn’t the one that sells the best. When offering multiple colors, make sure to check which color is the most popular so you can set it up to appear first. This should increase your conversion rate by making people choose faster their favorite color.

The title isn’t the best as it looks like a bunch of random words put together. Something like “JioJill Flowery Sandals” is much better and it will make people think like they’re buying from a real brand.

The worst part about the product page could be the bundles:

It’s great to see that there’s a connection between the products BUT offering a different pair of shoes isn’t the best thing to do. Why? Because it just prolongs the checkout process by giving women the option to check different shoes.

You should keep their focus on the exact sandals they saw on Facebook and remove all other distractions. Once they order a pair or two of the SAME sandals, then feel free to market them all your other pairs to try and make more money.

Other than that, everything looks fine to me.

The description has some GIFs and other photos which is nice. The English isn’t the best but it’s also not the worst I have seen…

Another thing that needs to be removed is the “You may also like” section:

Same as with the bundles, it’s better to keep their focus on the flowery sandals and nothing else.

4. Checkout

A standard checkout page. The only issue I see is the logo which they forgot to update.

There’s no phone number field which is fine but I prefer keeping it just in case the shipping company needs to contact them. If you set up the phone number field as “optional”, it should be fine as it won’t scare customers away like a mandatory phone field I have seen on some stores I reviewed.

Shipping:

They do charge shipping which is fine and the best thing is that they show how much time it will take. It’s good to finally see some information on the amount of time it takes for the product to arrive.

If you check some of my previous winning product review articles, you will see that some sellers give more than one shipping option(regular, premium, super premium)and they don’t even mention the amount of time it will take the product to arrive.

This tricks is supposed to increase the AOV, but in reality it just confuses the customers and lowers your conversion rate.

Payment page:

In my opinion, asking for tips could only infuriate some of your customers. This isn’t a handmade product or some kind of small family business store, so asking for tips is the same as asking for free money for no work at all.

I don’t think this is a good idea but who knows…

5. Sale Strategy

The product cost on Aliexpress is about $14 including shipping and they sell it here for only $20. It could be possible that they found an agent or a company that sources them these shoes for a much lower price. OR this could also be the original chinese seller that also runs a Shopify store and uses Facebook ads to drive traffic.

Either way, this shouldn’t scare you – You can list these sandals on your store and sell them for $29.99 + $4.99 shipping. This should give you a nice profit margin and you can even profit more if you offer quantity discounts.

Pro tip:

Try offering 10% discount on 2 pairs and add a free shipping discount to the deal. A quantity discount with both a discount + free shipping is quite tempting and could lead to more people buying multiple pairs.

If you want to offer free shipping on a single pair, then try selling these sandals for $34.99 or even $39.99. I think this is the maximum price you can charge for these.

To Sum It Up:

Take this opportunity and launch this product on your own store with better ads and without making the same mistakes as this seller. These sandals are really nice and you can sell it too or try choosing a different pair from what’s available on Aliexpress.

Plenty of sandals to choose from.

Good luck!

Apple iOS 14 Update And How It REALLY Affects Facebook Ads & Dropshipping

Apple iOS 14 Update And How It REALLY Affects Facebook Ads & Dropshipping
Apple iOS 14 Update And How It REALLY Affects Facebook Ads & Dropshipping

The new Apple’s iOS 14 update has officially rolled out and advertisers on Facebook are already feeling it on their campaigns. With so many limitations to tracking and the stuff Facebook asks you to do, I decided to write this article to help you better understand this whole situation.

On top of that, I will also provide some really simple solutions to the new iOS 14 anti-tracking issue, and let you know the immediate actions you must take right now.

Hope you this week’s article will help you out and let me know if you have any questions in the comments.

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

What is Apple iOS 14 Update?

Apple’s iOS 14 new update is just like any other update which comes with a new look and new features, but this time it has one major privacy change that affects any app you install on an iOS 14 device.

For each app installed on the phone, there will be a popup that asks the user if he allows to be tracked across other companies, apps, and websites. If the user decides to allow that, then it’s business as usual and he will be tracked the same way as he was before the update.

If the user decides to block tracking, then the data collected on him will be limited and some of it will be unavailable. It will be much more harder for Facebook’s Algorithm to learn about their users and to track them.

How Does Apple’s iOS 14 Update Affect Facebook Ads?

This update is still new so the amount of iOS 14 users that decide to opt-out tracking is going to grow with time. The real number of users and how it affects Facebook ads and its advertisers will be revealed probably in a few months.

Still, there are already some noticeable changes in the Facebook ad platform, the performance, and in the reports you receive back from Facebook.

For example:

1. Delayed reporting – One of the worst affects is delayed reporting with iOS 14 users. This means that you will not get the same level of reporting as you’re used to and some of the events will be reported back in delay. Imagine running a campaign and getting 3 sales while not knowing which adsets or ads has brought you them.

2. Missed reporting – Facebook will fail to report back about the events and actions made on your website. Some events will be never registered which means less data collected by your pixel and longer optimizations.

3. No support for breakdowns – Breakdowns by age, gender, region, placements, etc, will be no longer supported by Facebook. This data was really helpful and allowed us to understand more about our audience, and from where and how most actions came. This really important data helped us with optimizing our campaigns and now it’s gone for good.

4. Decrease in custom audience size – Facebook will track less people than it used to which means your saved audiences will be decreased in size. We now have less people to retarget and it will take us more time to create decent lookalike audiences.

These are some of the main changes that affect dropshippers directly and if you want to read about all the changes then just follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/331612538028890

What Should I Do Right Now?

Facebook asks us to do a few things to make the transition a bit smoother and to help us with our campaigns. These are some really simple stuff that can be found in the link I posted above with detailed instructions.

The first thing you have to do is to verify the domain name you’re using in the business manager. This is needed so you can prioritize the main web events(up to 8 events) you want Facebook to track and display on your campaigns.

Limited tracking also comes with limited reporting and you will have to prioritize your events and choose the ones most important to your business.

These are the 2 main things that Facebook asks of you right now and you should do it if you still haven’t.

How To Track Your Results Now?

Knowing which adset & ad has brought your sales is important and not being able to track it LIVE can affect your results. This can be the difference from a winning campaign to a losing one, so if you want to overcome this new problem with iOS 14, I suggest you start using Google analytics.

Did you know that for each ad you launch on Facebook, you can add your own URL parameters?

This way you can identify with the help of Google analytics reports from which adset and specific ad was the event received. If you look at the picture above, you can see that I made it easy for me to understand that it’s ad #1 from the cbo1 adset.

Now if I get a purchase, I can quickly take a look in my Google analytics and see which ad got me a sale. There will be no need to wait for Facebook to report back my results and I can quickly optimize my ads if needed.

What happens if you don’t know how to use Google analytics? Well I suggest learning it now as it’s very simple and you can easily find really good and FREE tutorials on Youtube about it. If you still can’t figure it out or you don’t really have time, then I have even better news for you.

Look at this report from a specific order taken from one of our Shopify stores:

As you can see, Shopify can also point out from which UTM parameters was the sale made. So if you’re already getting sales and don’t want to learn Google analytics, simply check the reports for each sale you get.

This is a good solution if you’re not getting too many sales and just starting out, but it will be troublesome to check the UTM parameters if you get dozens of orders a day, so I still strongly recommend you learn Google analytics(it’s really simple!).

To Sum It Up:

I agree it’s a little bit annoying with all that’s happening right now with Facebook and Apple, but I believe we will be able to overcome it and Facebook will definitely find a way to ease up our life a little bit and fix this situation.

Learn how to use URL parameters for each of your ads so you can track your results with Google analytics and get your campaigns running. Our dropshippers are still running ads and selling so it’s something you will have to overcome.

Good luck!

Aliexpress Product Suggestion – Sell This Bunion Corrector Right Now + Targeting Suggestions, Ad Examples, And Selling Strategy

Aliexpress Product Suggestion - Sell This Bunion Corrector Right Now + Targeting Suggestions, Ad Examples, And Selling Strategy
Aliexpress Product Suggestion - Sell This Bunion Corrector Right Now + Targeting Suggestions, Ad Examples, And Selling Strategy

Another week and another fresh product recommendation from Aliexpress!

This time it’s a bunion corrector product I found on Aliexpress which I think can sell really well because of the Hot season in front of us.

In this week’s article, I’m going to present you the product and the reasons why I think you should sell it right now. On top of that, you will also receive targeting suggestions, ad examples I personally made for you, selling strategy, and some awesome tips.

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

1. The Product

This bunion corrector product isn’t something new, and many variations of it exist on the market. I personally saw a few ads on Facebook selling these type of bunion correctors that did really well and had really good engagement.

So this product isn’t something new or revolutionary but I still decided to stop on it and recommend it for you – Here are my reasons:

1. Summer is almost here – Women are the main target audience for this product because they are the ones who mostly suffer from bunions on their feet. As Summer approaches, many will start wearing open shoes and having bunions is just not a great look for them.

This product may solve their problem without the need for a surgery so selling it right now may, just before the Summer hits, can bring you some good sales.

2. It’s a real problem for people – Problem solving products have always been the best products to dropship. If you can make life a bit easier by providing a solution, there will always be people who are willing to pay top dollar for that.

3. It’s cheap – The price is about $3 with shipping from China which gives you the option to sell it for $19.99 or $24.99 and still make a good profit.

This is a great product to start selling right now that solves a real problem!

2. Selling Strategy

This product costs about $3 with shipping from China, so the selling price should be somewhere between $19.99 and $24.99 with Free Shipping included. This is a good selling price and most people won’t have a problem spending this amount.

If you think $20 is too high and want to try something else, you could possibly sell it for a lower price like $16.99 and charge a small shipping fee of $2.99. The profit remains exactly the same and it could work even better than just offering free shipping.

Offer quantity discounts to increase your average order value:

The price we see is for only one piece and it’s possible that people will be looking to buy 2 pieces to wear them on both feet at the same time. Offer quantity discounts to get more from your customers – A 10% discount for 2 pieces is a fair price.

I wouldn’t offer different products as upsell or in a bundle to not confuse our customers. I think there’s enough profit to make with this product, especially if you can get quantity discounts to work, so focus on selling this one product only.

Later, you can find plenty of other products to offer and you can use retargeting ads or email marketing to sell more to your already existing customers. Keep your page clean, offer quantity discounts, and that’s it.

3. Ad Examples

This is a problem solving product which by default attracts more attention than just regular “cool” products if you nail the targeting. This is why I think photo ads are worth a shot here so I prepared 2 photo ad examples for you.

The first photo ad example is the one you see above and it’s a combination of 3 photos I took from a different aliexpress seller. This one has better high quality photos we can use so I prepared a 1200×1500 photo ad which looks really good on Facebook & Instagram feeds.

Ad example #2:

A regular 1200×1200 square photo ad using the main picture. You can try both of these photo ads in a single ad set and let Facebook decided which one performs better.

IMPORTANT:

You should also create a video ad for this product. Both sellers have the same video you can use and it shows the product in use and the video quality is really great. Test video ads + photo ads and see which one gives you the best results.

4. Targeting

The targeting for this product isn’t that simple… I know for sure that women suffer the most from this problem so every of my adsets will target only women. But I did have a problem finding relevant interests to use.

When looking for orthopedic or orthopedics, most of the interests I found were really small so using them isn’t an option. I did find interests like Feet or Toe(see picture above) which can be a good option to start with.

I chose to go with women aged 30 to 65+ because younger women also suffer from this problem so I didn’t want to target just older women.

Targeting example #2:

Another option I think that can work is targeting open sandals, flip-flops, and basically all the types of open shoes out there. Hopefully Facebook will find us the relevant people with this problem in this audience.

Targeting example #3:

Same interests as above but this time we can try targeting older women who are more likely to suffer from bunions. I think targeting older women is the safest choice and due to the lack of interests I would have at least 60% of my adsets targeting older women.

Sometimes Facebook doesn’t give us too many options and we have to rely on the pixel and spend a bit more than usual on testing a product. But once we find the right audience, this will be worth it!

Let me know if you have better targeting suggestions 😉

To Sum It Up:

Prepare a cool video ad, do a bit more research to maybe find better interests to target, and launch this product right now just before the Summer. Don’t forget to also test photo ads because you can never know which type of ad will work better.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments.

Good luck!

This Product is Exploding On Facebook By Running A Single Photo Ad – Sell This Product Now!

This Product is Exploding On Facebook By Running A Single Photo Ad - Sell This Product Now!
This Product is Exploding On Facebook By Running A Single Photo Ad - Sell This Product Now!

Another week and another amazing winning product recommendation!

This time I found a product that went viral on Facebook and to my surprise it runs a single photo ad and that’s it.

No video ads or story ads, just a single good quality photo ad that was taken from Aliexpress with no edits at all. I love this product not only because it’s really cool, but also because it shows that photo ads still work and you shouldn’t just launch video ads for all your products.

On top of that, the original seller didn’t launch a video ad for this product so it’s your chance to launch one and see if it explodes even more!

In this week’s article, I’m going to review the ad, the store, and basically everything there is about this product and give you valuable tips so you can take this product to the next level.

Although the ad is pretty much perfect, I found the store to not be in a good shape so this product isn’t getting the REAL sales it deserves.

I’m also giving you 3 targeting suggestions to help you out even more with your campaigns!

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

1. The Product

Today’s winning product is this chic wine table which is perfect for the Summer! It’s a really cool product for people who love outdoors wine-cheese picnics, especially now when it’s basically the only way you can eat outside with all the COVID-19 limitations.

Wine lovers are going crazy about this product so make sure to test it right after you finish reading this article!

2. The Ad

I’ve always been a fan of photo ads and I still believe a lot of products you see on Facebook, even the complicated ones, can sell really well if you have a good photo of a product you’re selling. This product is an example of a great working photo ad and I’m glad I have the chance to show it to you.

The good things about photo ads is that it doesn’t take too much time to prepare one and you can almost instantly run your ads after importing the product. It also require minimum editing skills to work unlike with video ads.

The seller of this product just used the photos provided by the Aliexpress seller and launched his ads – Just like that and he was able to generate a lot of buzz around this product and the engagement is pretty insane. Also the amount of comments on this product are much higher than average which makes me believe this product is doing really great.

Still, this doesn’t mean you should run only photo ads – Make sure to test all possible creatives because you can never know which one will perform better. I believe this product can also work really well with a video ad so prepare one if you decide to test it.

Ad review:

There’s not much I can say about this ad… The photo ad is almost done for you and you can find a copy of it on the Aliexpress sale page. I love that it shows 3 pictures in different settings and it’s also the same way I use to prepare my photo ads.

The quality is great thanks to the Aliexpress seller so for me it’s just perfect.

Ad copy review:

I absolutely LOVE the ad copy! A single like of text explaining exactly what this product is about with a call-to-action. No bullsh*t, no emoji spam, just how I like it. 9.9/10 only because I expected to see a wine glass emoji somewhere in the ad copy or in the title of the product ?

3. The Store

This is where things get a bit more tough and from a perfect ad we go to a store with some conversion killing mistakes. The store in general isn’t bad and he’s definitely getting sales, but there are some things that could be confusing the customers and making it harder for them to order.

Here are some of the mistakes I spotted:

1. The packs

In my opinion, these packs are really confusing and there’s too much of them. The first two packs are standard with a free shipping discount if you buy 2 tables, but the rest of them will make it difficult for the customers to choose from.

You have a VIP shipping option with a $5 discount, a 10% OFF if you buy 4 tables and no mention about shipping, then a buy X get Y free promotion, etc. It’s just too much and I don’t really see someone picking 7 tables just to get 3 more for free.

I would just go with the first 3 packs and editing the last pack to show it as Free shipping(not vip) + 10% discount. Don’t make it too hard for your customers to choose because they can end up not buying anything at all.

2. The quantity discounts

Right below the packs and the Add to Cart button, there’s a new quantity discount table which offers completely different discounts from the packs. Again, this is confusing and I don’t see any need in this table when he have already the packs to choose from.

The discount are also pretty lame(only 5% for 3 tables really?) so this section should be removed. Or you can remove the packs and keep the quantity discounts live.

3. The bundles

Let’s confuse our customers even more by offering a bundle, on top of the discount packs & the quantity discounts, and place them all before the product description. The customer didn’t have the chance to read more about the product and he’s already bombarded  with a bunch of super random discounts. On top of that, these products almost look the same and the picnic table has packs too with the same discount style.

By now their customers are losing their mind and I bet my money on it that some of them just walk out because they don’t have the time to think what discount to pick. This bundle is useless and I would remove it completely.

They have no reviews but nothing they can do about it because I didn’t find any to import on Aliexpress. The logo though needs a normal design as it’s text only. I also don’t like the name of the store but it’s my personal preference.

Other than that, the product page looks fine with a nice description.

4. Checkout

Well the store doesn’t have a normal logo so the checkout page will not have one too. A logo is not a big investment and every dropshipper out there needs to make sure he has a decent one designed and live on the store. And of course, upload it both on the front page and the checkout pages.

The phone number is mandatory for some reason which isn’t a good thing unless you plan on doing SMS marketing. Some people don’t like giving their phone numbers, even if it’s only for the shipping company, so make sure it’s set as optional.

Shipping:

I didn’t find any information on their store about shipping times and here they offer 2 shipping methods with not even a clue about the time it will take to arrive. They probably see it as a method to get more money, but what I see again is a confusion obstacle which can make customers leave your store without buying.

If you offer different shipping methods, then at least let people know about the shipping times both in the shipping information page and your product description. You can also add the shipping times for both methods in brackets so it will also appear again on the shipping checkout page.

If it was me, I would just go with a Free Shipping option on all of my orders and be done with it. Gives my customers less to think about and gets them faster to the payment page ?

Payment:

PayPal is the only way they accept payments so they should at least add a short line of text that you can checkout with your Debit or Credit Card without having an actual account on PayPal. So people who only have credit cards know they can pay without creating an account. This should increase the conversion rate a bit.

5. Targeting

I decided to help you out even more by adding 3 targeting suggestions – Targeting wine lovers isn’t difficult and there are PLENTY of interests to choose from on Facebook. The first option is just to target a big interest such as Wine(see picture above) and let Facebook do its job.

I always have at least one big general interest in one of my adsets, and for the rest I like to mix it up a bit.

Targeting example #2:

I layered it down and added 2 wine types to make my targeting a bit more precise and help Facebook pick up the real wine lovers.

Targeting example #3:

Here I decided to mix it up a bit and add cheese and picnic into the mix. Facebook will definitely find the right people from this audience who will like my product. I think this targeting option is the best one!

I also think targeting women 25+ is the right choice for this product and I will move to men only if I get good results with women first.

To Sum It Up:

As you can see, photo ads work really well so don’t test product only with video ads. This is a great product with a great ad, but the store isn’t the best so I believe the original seller lost a bunch of sales because of these mistakes.

And even if his store was perfect, the audience is HUGE and there’s a room for everyone to make money here. Create a different photo ad or a video ad, don’t do the same mistakes as this seller, and start making sales!

Good luck!

4 Small Tweaks You Can Do On Your Shopify Store To Build More Trust And Increase Sales

In this week’s article, I’m going to show you 4 quick tweaks you can do on your Shopify store to build more trust and to increase your sales. Some of them will require a bit of custom coding but it’s definitely worth it because it will increase your overall conversion rate.

Hope you like this week’s article and let me know if you have questions in the comments.

Enjoy.

1. Optimizing The Cart Page

The cart page on free themes are usually very simple… It’s just a page showing the current product you added to your cart, with your customer’s total price and a default text(“taxes and shipping calculated at checkout”) just below it. You will have only one checkout button to continue to the shipping details and a quick link to pay with PayPal or quick payment methods.

And yes it works out well and if your ad and everything else on your store are good, nothing is going to stop you from getting sales. So don’t worry too much about this tweak if you don’t have the time or money to do it. Maximum, get back to it later after you get sales and you’re looking to make more.

Like I already said, the cart page is too simple so we usually tweak it a bit to improve our store’s conversion rate. It will require custom coding or an app/theme that already has that included – I don’t know about an app offering it all so custom coding is what we use.

IMPORTANT:

It’s a really simple job for someone who knows his way around Shopify, so don’t overpay on Fiverr. I think this gig shouldn’t cost more than $50 and it’s very important for you to understand exactly what he did.

Make sure to ask for a detailed report on the custom code in your store’s design, so you can later edit it yourself on any new store you open. It’s really simple and this way you won’t need to hire another Fiverr professional for the same job.

Here’s our usual cart page optimization:

1. Adding a single review window – This is a static review window that doesn’t change. It is the same for every customer who goes to the cart page, including the photo. As you can see, it is located just below the Checkout button.

2. Mentioning our current promotion – This one works best if you have the same promotion for any product on your store. In this case, it’s 50% OFF + Free Shipping on our one-product store so it’s also a static text. A really simple edit with a small shipping icon just to make it look cooler.

3. Price compare – We show the old price and the new price after the discount(ignore the wrong original price, it’s a new store we’re working on which is not finished yet). It’s a great way to show our customers again just how much they save shopping with us.

4. Adding trust badges or store guarantee icons

Another way to build more trust with your customers. We usually don’t put these in our cart page but I think we’ll actually do it on the new store we’re building. These look really nice, but you should use a different icon for each guarantee.

5. Adding a second checkout button – Sometimes you have to scroll a bit down to find the checkout button on the cart page. You can avoid it by either making the cart section smaller, or by adding another checkout button.

Two checkout buttons, Top & Bottom, will be always seen by your customers without the need to scroll down just to find one. This guarantees a much quicker click on the checkout button ?

2. Optimizing The Checkout Page

People tend to forget that there’s a checkout section on Shopify you can edit and optimize. You can add your logo or even a banner, change the texts, button colors, and more. Leaving the checkout page at default settings is possibly one of most common mistakes done by new dropshippers.

And Shopify’s checkout is three page long so it’s even more troublesome if you leave it untouched… So before sending any traffic to your store, make sure your checkout page is 100% prepared and optimized!

Here’s a few things you can do to make your checkout page more appealing and increase your conversion rate:

  1. Add your logo + trust badges – Your store logo will appear as text only on the checkout page and you need to upload it the second time in the theme’s checkout settings. Having your logo on the checkout page is already better than having just text, but we always add a few trust badges next to it(see picture above). It looks more professional and helps you build more trust with your customers.
  2. Change the default texts – You can edit the default texts on the checkout pages to anything you want. We usually change it to fit our current deals – If we’re running a Free Shipping deal, the shipping text “calculated at next step” will be changed to just “Free” in order to not confuse our customers. We sometimes do the same for our buttons texts and instead of the regular “Continue to shipping” text, we will have something like “Continue and Apply Free Shipping”. In my opinion, this sounds much better and it definitely increases the amount of clicks!
  3. Change your checkout button colors – Your checkout button colors will stay at default if not changed in Checkout theme settings. Make sure to change the color to fit your store’s theme or just go with the safe Green option which always works.
  4. Add policy links to your footer – Go to Shopify’s Legal settings and use their automatic tool to create a Refund policy, Privacy policy, and Terms of Service pages. Once created, these will automatically appear in your checkout page footer. Looks more professional and customers will trust you more when you have these pages displayed in the checkout.

These 4 quick edits are a good beginning and should help you get more sales! You can also add icons to your buttons using a custom HTML code or a countdown timer using a conversion boosting Shopify app.

3. Adding Links To Your Product Everywhere On Your Store

The third point is more focused on one-product stores than general or niche ones. One-product stores sell only one product(DUH) so the only there’s no other product to link to or multiple discounts.

Your job as a one-product store owner is to “close the loop” which basically means that no matter where your customer goes, he will always find his way back to your product. Here’s a quick example from the latest product review video done by Mordechai Arba, the CEO of Ecomhunt:

In this video, Mordechai checks the stats of the store selling the product on SimilarWeb to see how many visits the store gets and other statistics. He notices that the stores gets an average of 3.68 page views which is pretty high for a store that gets 300k monthly visitors.

And the first thing he recommends doing is to have links to your product everywhere on your store. About Us page, FAQs, Tracking pages, etc – add a link or a promotional banner anywhere you can so your customers can jump right back to your product and continue with their purchase.

P.S

I recommend watching this video because it has tons of value and a lot of really amazing tips to help you get more from your customers!

4. Adding Extra Buy Buttons In Your Product Description

I guess most of you know about ClickFunnels or at least heard about them. Basically it’s a platform that helps people build their own sales funnels. You can build a sales funnel to sell almost any product you want, collect leads, sell courses, and a lot more.

These sale funnels are usually long and there’s a lot of scrolling to do, so you need to place buttons in strategical places to convert your visitors. Now the same thing can be done if you have a long product description on your Shopify store.

Your customers end up scrolling down quite a lot sometimes to read the whole description, getting to the reviews, and to buy the product they have to scroll back up to get to the Add to Cart button. Make it easier for them by adding buttons in strategical points so they don’t have to scroll all the way up to purchase your product.

A Buy Now button in the middle of your description and another one at the end is all you need to boost your conversion rate a bit more.

Note:

This also requires custom coding but it’s a really simple task! A Fiverr gig shouldn’t cost more than $15 for this job and it will be easy to replicate on the next store you open.

To Sum It Up:

It’s the small things that really count and as small as these seem, it’s important to implement them on your store to get more out of your customers. Don’t send any traffic to your store before implementing the first 3 points!

Good luck!

Ecomhunt's Trending Product Suggestion - Sell These Women Summer Sandals + Store & Ad Review, And More!
Ecomhunt's Trending Product Suggestion - Sell These Women Summer Sandals + Store & Ad Review, And More!

Another week and another amazing winning product recommendation!

This time it’s a Summer product for women and based on the engagement the ad receives on Facebook, they really LOVE this product and want to purchase it. If you’re looking for a Summer product to sell, this is the winner you’re looking for!

This product’s original seller has done ALL the possible mistakes with his ads and store, but he was still able to make some sales. Unfortunately for him, he is probably going to shut his ads really soon because of his mistakes.

Fortunately for you, I’m here to help you sell this product by pointing all his mistakes and how to fix them.  I’m going to review the ad, the store, and basically everything there is about this product and give you valuable tips so you can take this product to the next level.

This product’s potential is HUGE so be quick about it and launch you ads to get the sales this product really deserves.

Enjoy.

find winning products to dropship

1. The Product

Today’s winning product are these super comfortable Summer sandals for women. The cold season is almost over and a lot of Summer products are beginning to trend worldwide. One of the trending products are these cute sandals I spotted on Ecomhunt and it looks like a hit amongst women.

These sandals are orthopedic(probably?), breathable, nice looking, and come in a variety of different colors so there’s nothing not to love about these. If you’re looking for the perfect Summer product to sell, make sure to jump on this product right now and launch your ads!

2. The Ad

The ad isn’t really the best… It shows a few good shots of the sandals with some nice animation but the text description is really bad. It’s the Aliexpress style English which I hate the most and in some parts of the video, it doesn’t really make any sense.

There’s also no shots of women wearing/walking in these sandals which is a shame. If you want your target audience to feel more connected to your product, then make sure to put a person using the product in your ad.

There are also really bad shots that should be removed/edited like this one right here:

The text in this part of the video is horrendous and needs to be changed ASAP. It’s better to just skip a shot if you don’t know how to explain it to your audience.

And you also have the weird ending which I didn’t really like:

There are better ways to show you’re on sale than showing 3 loop shots of a woman moving her lips. And a simple call-to-action text would be better than showing random warehouse workers shipping out their stuff.

The ad copy:

Too many emojis and bad English. This ad copy is a mess! And the link should be in the first 3 lines for your target audience to always see it. In this case, the link is only visible when clicking on the “see more” button.

Here’s an example of a better ad copy:

version #1:

“These orthopedic sandals are exactly what your feet need this Summer ?

Get yours here => *store link*

Super comfortable, stylish, and the first 200 customers get 50% OFF + Free Shipping!”

version #2:

“These orthopedic Summer sandals will make you feel as if you’re walking on clouds ?

Get your pair now => *store link*

Order yours now and get 50% OFF + Free Shipping – Limited stock, act now!”

Overall, the ad is pretty bad and you can easily create something much better. And if you don’t know how to create video ads, a simple $5 gig on Fiverr will do a better job for sure!

Photo ads work well too, so you can try that instead of video ads. ?

3. The Store

If you thought the ad looked bad, wait till you see the store…

The original seller made A LOT of mistakes here and I’m going to show it all so you don’t follow the same path. I am almost 100% sure his conversion rate is much lower than the industry’s standard, so he’s barely making any profit.

Pay attention to what I’m about to say here and you will be able to do a much better job.

1. Custom quantity discounts – Made by adding custom variants(not an app)

The first problem with these custom variants is that you can’t choose 2 of the same color and you can only choose from the options he gives you. The second problem, which is worse, is the same size for both sandals.

Imagine if a customer wants to buy these sandals for herself and another pair for her mom who wears a different size. No chance this discount will work and it only confuses the customer or makes her angry she can’t pick this deal.

Quantity discounts are better made with an app to allow your customers choose different variants for each extra product they pick.

2. Quantity discounts – Made using a Shopify app

Right below the Add to Cart button, we have yet another quantity discount offer and this time it’s made by using a Shopify app. If it were me, I would start with 10% discount on 2 items and add 5% for each additional item. I think a 5% discount for 2 pairs is a bit cheap and not tempting enough.

But the problem here is that you can’t control the size or the color which makes this quantity discount useless. Yet another useless add-on to confuse the customers…

3. Frequently bought together bundle

I always say that you must keep your customers focused on the product you sell by removing unnecessary distractions. Why? Because we’re not Amazon where people come to do their shopping sprees on. Your best bet is to get a sale as fast as possible and later you can try and sell more stuff to your already existing customers.

But if you still want to test some bundles and upsells, then at least do it the right way. Make sure the products you offer has some sort of connection to the one you’re selling. Try offering simple products with 1-2 variants max(like a mug).

And always keep an eye on how it affects your sales and if the bundle is worth it – A clean offer, with no interruptions, will make the checkout process much faster for your customers.

Back to our store review – In this case, the bundle is useless. We have men products in the mix and every product has it’s own unique size chart.

The bundle is also completely random and this was the second suggestion I got:

Completely random products. This just makes the store look unprofessional and no one is going to take this bundle! And this is even before we get to read the description – Think how much you have to scroll on your phone just to get to the product description. Terrible.

4. “People who bought this” product suggestions

Another distraction from the product you’re selling – Like I already said, it’s best to keep customers focused on the product that brought them to your store. Stuff like this will take them away from your product and they will eventually exit your store without buying.

And another example is the collection list:

I have never reviewed a dropshipping store with so many distractions.

5. Reviews

Reviews are your store’s social proof and its purpose is to show your customers that you are a legit business that delivers the goods. A nice looking review section with photos and good comments will boost your conversion rate, thus landing you more sales.

So a good looking review section is a must for each product you launch and you have to make sure it looks good and import reviews with as much photos as you can.

In this case, the seller has only 3 reviews which are not imported from Aliexpress. It looks like real customers actually left a review on his store and some of them are really not helping, like the one woman asking where are her sandals.

This is a really bad review section and it would be better for the seller to just completely remove it and keep it clean.

6. Description

The description has that Aliexpress English I hate and some really weird texts like the one you see above. Nothing to explain here as you all understand this isn’t good.

7. Footer

The footer is really dull and it could use a bit more personalization. A bit more text in the Get in touch section, deleting the default text in the newsletter section, and editing the spacing to make it even. The footer looks really bad…

4. Checkout

The checkout page is possibly the only thing that saves this seller and makes him not lose as much sales as he should. What we see right here is a custom one page checkout and not the regular 3-page Shopify checkout.

It’s no secret that Shopify checkout process could be much better and because of that some sellers move to custom one-page checkout to get more sales. One page checkout will always have a better conversion rate because there’s no need to constantly click NEXT to move to the next stage.

It’s all done in the same page and saves a lot of time for our customers.

If you ever land on a good selling product, consider moving to a one-page checkout to increase your conversion rate. It will require you to make some custom editing but it’s definitely worth it!

So our seller decided to use a one-page checkout and I couldn’t really find any big issues.

The only issue I had with this seller is the mandatory phone number which should have stayed optional. Some customers don’t like giving their phone numbers, even if it’s only for the shipping company, so they will leave your checkout if you force them to give you their phone number.

It looks like the seller only accepts PayPal:

It reduces even more his conversion rate because there’s not stripe and some people don’t know you can checkout as a guest on PayPal. It would be better if he added extra text right under the Place your Order button where he explains that you can pay with your Debit or Credit card on PayPal too(without having an account).

To Sum It Up:

This seller could easily scale this product real big if he didn’t hurry with his store and actually took some time to make a good ad. His ad is receiving a lot of love on Facebook but that’s just about it and he’s probably close to shutting his ads.

Take this opportunity and launch this product on your own store with better ads and without making the same mistakes as this seller. This is a crazy winner waiting for someone to explode with it and make some real bank!

Good luck!

find winning products to dropship

Click On The “Import to Shopify” Button To Begin The Importing Process

A black “Import to Shopify” button will appear on each product you find on Ecomhunt. It sits right next to the “See on Aliexpress” orange button and this is all you need to begin the importing process to your store.

It’s important to save time for the important stuff when dropshipping, so we made sure importing products from Ecomhunt is fast and simple!

Once you click on the import button, a popup will appear:

We will ask you to put your “myshopify” store address to connect your store with our Ecomhunt Shopify app. You have to install our app if you want to quickly import products from Ecomhunt to your store.

Click the green “Get Started” button and you will be asked to install the Ecomhunt app:

Ecomhunt is an unlisted app, thus you can’t find it in the Shopify app store. You can only access this app if you’re an Ecomhunt user, so there’s no need for it to be available for random people on the Shopify store.

The app is, of course, safe to install and we only ask for the necessary information – Account data is default for any app on Shopify, and the option to edit products is needed to import and create listings in your store. The app is completely free and there are no hidden fees whatsoever.

Click on the green “Install unlisted app” button to install the Ecomhunt app.

Once installed, a success message will appear thanking you for installing our app. If you click on the green “Get Started” button, it will take you back to Ecomhunt main page to look for products you want to import.

Now each time you click on the Import to Shopify button, the same popup will appear but this time you can actually start importing by clicking on the “Start Import” button.

Your store address should automatically appear in the text box and once you click on the Start Import button, a pushing to score animation will appear on the product page.

A few seconds later, a green confirmation button will appear and you can even click on it to see the imported product in your Shopify store.

That’s it! The product is published and you can start editing it 🙂

Note:

As we already said, the Ecomhunt app is completely free and there’s no store amount limit per account.

You can add as many stores as you like and for each one you’ll need our Ecomhunt app to be installed.

Editing Your Newly Imported Ecomhunt Product On Your Shopify Store

Every product you import from Ecomhunt will be automatically published. You can continue editing it in active mode or change it to draft, it doesn’t really matter…

Ecomhunt automatic import option imports:

  1. The title of the product
  2. The description (text only)
  3. The pictures
  4. The suggested selling price (no compare price)
  5. The variants

Your job now is to continue editing the product and changing it the way you see fit. I suggest rearranging the product description and add some pictures, trust badges, upsells/quantity discount, reviews, etc.

If you’re not sure how an optimized product page should look like, then make sure to read this article. This article will show you exactly how a high-converting product page should look like to get the maximum out of your customers.

And there’s always the option to take inspiration from someone else’s store, but I suggest first reading this article to get a basic understanding.

That’s it! Your product page is ready so launch those ads and start selling ?

To Sum It Up:

This was a quick tutorial on how to import winning products from Ecomhunt to your Shopify store. Remember, don’t do manually things you can do automatically with the help of apps or services. Your time is valuable – Don’t waste it on manual labor and invest it into the really important stuff like business management, product research, and selling strategy.

Good luck!

5 Reasons Why Your Dropshipping Store Is Failing - Part 2

From testing too many products to advertising on the same ad platform as everyone else, these are the possible reasons that stop you from having a successful dropshipping business.

This is the second part of the article series, so make sure to read the first part first!

Read the first part here.

Hope you like this article and let me know if you have any questions in the comments.

find winning products to dropship

1. You’re Testing Way Too Many Products

There is no rule and no real formula between the amount of products you test and your success rate. The amount of products you test per day/week/month should be ONLY based on the amount of time, money, and experience you actually have.

If you’re a newbie dropshipper with no real experience with dropshipping, then the amount of products you test depends more on your experience than your budget. Your budget doesn’t really matter if you have no experience… Be it $10k or $100, your chances to fail are exactly the same and you’ll just burn your money away if you hurry!

So if you’re a newbie dropshipper, you should pick your product carefully, analyze each campaign thoroughly, and continue to the next product only when you know what went wrong.

And when you have the needed experience, then you can speed up the process a bit and test in bulk. But again, only if you have the time and the budget to do so – Don’t force yourself to test a certain amount of products only because you saw some Guru do it.

2. You’re Lacking Experience

Dropshipping, like any other business out there, requires you to bring in a certain budget if you want to make it work. It may be much smaller than opening a physical business, but it’s still money… But the real point isn’t the budget, it’s the experience.

Experience is the name of the game – Before thinking about how much budget you have, you should first LEARN everything there is to know about dropshipping. Why? Because your knowledge is what’s going to decide your budget.

If you have no experience at all, dumping money on ads isn’t going to change a thing for you. Be it $100k or $1k, you’re just making Mark Zuckerberg richer. But if you know what you’re doing, then you can keep your budget at the required minimum.

One of the most profitable niche stores I ever owned started from about $700 in my PayPal. It didn’t take me even $300 and I already hit a great product that was doing great numbers. I didn’t waste too much money on bad products and I knew exactly the process.

So before even thinking about how much money you can spend, go to our blog & Youtube channel and learn everything you can about dropshipping.

3. You’re Not Using Any Automated Tools

When I started dropshipping, there were no real tools and data I could use to save me time & money. Back in the days, I had to do EVERYTHING – Product research, analytics, searching for ads, suppliers, trends research, and a lot more!

Nowadays, you have this data right in front of you with some extra features & apps that make your life much easier. This doesn’t just save you A LOT of time in the process, it also helps you to make decisions based on real data which saves you money too.

Instead of manually searching for products to test on aliexpress, I simply go to Ecomhunt and get top recommended products to sell with real data on them and purchase history. I already know these products are selling, so all I need to do is to remarket the product in my own way and get sales too.

Same goes for everything else – The FB ads are just a click away so I don’t need to search for it. If I want to test the waters with a new product I found on aliexpress, I can just track its performance and see if it’s worth selling. If I’m looking to get my hands on trending products, then there’s a feature for that too.

Everything you need in one place to automate your dropshipping business so you get more free time to focus on the important stuff.

P.S

It’s not just about Ecomhunt, I recommend the same for other stuff too. Let’s say you’re looking to use Instagram influencers to promote your business and you struggle doing it alone, then just use a service that gives you a list of the exact influencers you need. Or if you need to create quick designs on a daily basis, then a service like Placeit is what you need.

Don’t be afraid to use automated tools that can make your life much easier.

4. You Suck At Scaling

Scaling requires experience and it can be a b*tch when you don’t know what you’re doing… When you’re about to scale a campaign, you have to understand that stuff are about to change for the worse or for the better.

If you scale too fast and increase your budgets, you risk tanking your campaign and losing everything you made so far. If you do it too slow, then you’ll just stay at the same place and won’t reach new heights.

Here are 2 main rules I follow when scaling:

  1. Scared money don’t make money – When scaling, your ROIS will ALWAYS(99.9%) shrink. If your profit after ad costs and everything else was 50%, it can go down to by half and even more. But would you rather spend $10k and make $6k or spend $100k and make $20k? The answer is obvious so don’t be scared to scale guys. Scaling isn’t rocket science and once you get a hang of how it works, it will become much more natural for you.
  2. Do it at your own pace and always strive to make more – Use your brain and not your heart. Never go all in and dump all your budget on one campaign! Take it slowly, analyze your results, and do everything you can to make more sales.

Now I bet you ask how scaling works? Fortunately for you, we have a great article that will teach you everything you need to know about scaling with Facebook ads. Make sure to read our How to scale your Facebook ad campaigns like a BOSS article.

5. You’re Advertising On The Same Ad Platform As Everyone Else

Facebook ad platform is the #1 choice of most dropshippers because of how simple it is to use and the no-minimum entry budget requirement. You can start with as low as $1 a day(we recommend $5~$10 at least) and find the exact audience you need by using Facebook’s laser targeted interests.

Also most of the paid ads training you can find online for dropshipping, free and paid, cover Facebook ads too. Facebook did a great job to develop an ad platform that doesn’t need much technical knowledge to use it.

So no wonder so many dropshippers choose Facebook ad platform when starting their dropshipping journey. Still, this doesn’t mean Facebook ads is the right choice for you and you should always explore other opportunities.

Why? Because maybe you will find much more success with other ad platform than with Facebook ads, and you’re missing it just because you can’t move on.

Google ads, Youtube ads, Tik Tok ads, Snapchat ads, etc, are ad platforms with a huge potential that can work wonderfully for your dropshipping business. All you need is to test it and maybe it will work much better for you than Facebook ads.

For example:

Some of our Ecomhunt users have found success only after switching from Facebook ads to a different ad platform. Some found success using Instagram influencers, and some are doing great with Google ads. And now that things go well for them, they can get back and try Facebook ads again without worrying too much because they have something that already works.

This move can be a bit difficult, especially when there isn’t too many people explaining about all other ad platforms out there… But sometimes, it is a necessary move towards having a successful dropshipping store!

My personal advice:

Test Youtube ads – I’ve been targeted by some dropshipping ads on Youtube and it looks like some of them are doing great! Based on the views they already received on their videos, it looks like they’re not going to stop any day soon.

Learn how to use Youtube ads and just go for it.

To Sum It Up:

Always stick to what works and don’t be afraid to test new things to see if you can get better results. I hope you like the second part and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the comments.

Good luck!

3 Amazing Products I Found On Aliexpress That You Should Dropship Right Now!

Hey there!

For this week’s article, I decided to look for products on Aliexpress and post the ones that I think have the most potential to sell. For each product I pick, I will also give you targeting suggestions, a selling strategy, and some extra valuable tips to increase your selling chances.

Hope you like my picks.

Enjoy!

1. Electric Body Massager

I chose this product for 2 main reasons:

The first one is the rising popularity of all type of massagers during COVID-19 lockdowns around the world. I’ve seen plenty of ads on Facebook and other places for massagers and almost every ad I saw was really blowing up.

I guess some people are looking to release the tension and a massager is just the thing they need. They’re also pretty cheap, even the high-quality ones, so you can find a massager and sell it for $50~$70 which is just about the retail price in stores.

The second one is the upcoming holiday in the US and other countries – Mother’s Day. This is a HUGE holiday and a massager can be a great gift to an elderly mother. I’ve seen plenty of comments from older women/men about how these massagers help them and how much they enjoy using the product.

If you hit the right audience and perfect it with a well made video ad, you can really hit it big! Of course, the video ad should talk about how this massager is a great gift for Mother’s Day and preferably show footage of elderly people using it.

Selling strategy:

This product has pretty good reviews on Aliexpress and it looks like it sells for $30 with a box. I would recommend selling this product with a box and not choose the cheaper version which is the one without the box.

You can price it on your dropshipping store for $55~$60 and offer free shipping with it. This is a standard price for this kind of massager and we still have a good $25~$30 profit margin to work with.

Quantity discounts is something that I don’t think will work here. In most cases, customers will probably order a single unit so offering quantity discounts will just take more space on your product page. You can still try it out if you really want to, but I recommend keeping it clean.

Same goes for upsells – I have no specific idea what upsell to offer with this massager so I would not offer anything. When I have no idea what to offer, I prefer not offering anything at all to not slow down the checkout process.

Colors – This isn’t a fashion item where offering more colors can improve your sales. It’s a simple massager that comes in red or blue so just import one color(blue) to make your customers choose faster.

Targeting:

There are plenty of interests we can choose from on Facebook and the only difference between a regular or a Mother’s Day targeting will be the age we choose and the ad itself.

If you’re looking to target people that will buy it as a Mother’s Day gift, then you can go for something like this:

Age 30-50, you can even go 30-60, men & women + massage interests. Show some elderly people in your ad, talk about how this product is a great gift for Mother’s Day, and you are good to go.

Another example:

Same as the first one just using a different interest. I recommend trying out a CBO campaign with one interest per adset.

Important:

There are plenty of massagers on Aliexpress and you don’t need to stick to this one because of me. Search for different massagers and maybe you’ll find something much better than the one I recommended here.

Take a look at this massager for example:

It’s an “acupuncture” massager that looks to be really well made. The reviews are fantastic and it sells for almost the same price as the first one. The first massager, which is a great massager, looks a bit standard compared to this one.

This acupuncture massager has a cool design and it just gives a different vibe from the first one, and this is why it can maybe sell even better. So just make sure to look for other options before jumping in on any of these massagers!

2. A Watch That is Also a Lighter

This watch is a gimmick – It’s cool but it doesn’t really solve a real problem. It is designed to attract attention and nothing more. Yes, it may be handy if you forgot/lost your lighter and you have this watch on you, but I think this isn’t the way to sell it.

If I were to sell this product, I would choose the gimmicky direction over being all serious about it and portraying it as a “big problem solver” for smokers. This product is cheap, cool, and it attracts people’s attention – And your ad should be the same.

Here’s what you should do if you want to sell this product successfully:

  1. Sell it for cheap – This product sells for about $10(including shipping), so price it around $24.99~$29.99 and offer free shipping.
  2. Create a cool ad – It’s a 100% emotional purchase with this product so make sure your ad looks super cool! I suggest checking out Fiverr gigs and looking for ones that can make a cool Tik Tok type video ad.
  3. Offer only one color(silver) – The silver one is what most people choose so offer just this one version. No point offering the black version which is just a dark version of the inside…
  4. Target young people – Based on the reviews and common logic, it looks like this product is a hit with the younger audience.
  5. Target worldwide – USA is the obvious choice but I recommend trying out worldwide targeting too. With this type of products, you can never where it can be a hit.

And most importantly:

Consider using Influencers instead of Facebook ads – This product is the type that can do really well as a simple post on some Influencer page saying how cool it is. I would search for young influencers or for meme pages with good engagement to try and close a deal.

If you don’t how to do it, then check out this article on how to promote products using Instagram Influencers. I also recommend checking out Biaheza’s Youtube videos about Instagram and Tik Tok influencers. If you have experience with Tik Tok, then it can be even better than using Instagram influencers.

In case you still want to try Facebook ads, here are my targeting suggestions:

The targeting is the easy part and all we have to do is target smokers. We can do it by targeting popular cigarette brands and using smoke related interests. Of course, the age group is young people so I would go for 18-28, 18-30 max!

Targeting example 1:

Targeting example 2:

IMPORTANT:

Facebook has strict rules about selling tobacco products. Make sure to check their TOS on what products you can sell and what you can’t. It could be that lighters are fine but if you mention “cigarette” or “tobacco” in your ad, it will be disapproved and you risk getting banned. In this case, I recommend only using Influencers.

Also, please don’t forget that Facebook scans your Shopify store and they know exactly what products you have there. If you import this product to your general store and sell something else, you can still get banned if this product is not allowed.

Just having this product in your store is enough to get you banned… So don’t even import it before checking out their rules and being 100% sure it won’t get you into trouble!

3. Yoga Leg Stretcher

This yoga leg stretcher has caught my attention because of how simple it is to use. You can use this product anywhere and it also supports multiple yoga positions which is exactly what yoga enthusiasts are looking for.

It is also pretty cheap, about $6 with shipping(on this listing), and you can offer quantity discounts to throw in more pieces for a discounted price. Overall, a great product yoga enthusiasts will really like.

Selling strategy:

I would sell this product for $19.99 + $2.95 shipping or $24.99 + Free Shipping. I think $19.99 price point with a small shipping fee is better than selling for $24.99 + free shipping because there’s a small trick I would like to use when offering quantity discounts.

When offering quantity discounts, I sometimes like to sweeten even more the deal by offering a 10% discount if they pick 2 items AND also free shipping. This makes the deal look much better than just offering 10% discount for 2 items.

I think there’s a big chance your customers would want to purchase at least 2 pieces so this sweet discount can really close the deal for you. Make your customers feel like they really won and the sales will roll in!

Targeting:

Targeting yoga lovers is pretty simple – We start from women at all ages and combine it with general yoga interests. You can also include companies(if exist on FB) that sell yoga accessories. At first, I would recommend avoiding interest such as Yoga pants because it’s a bit too general. Women wear yoga pants everywhere now and not just for yoga classes…

Targeting example #1:

Women 22~60 combined with one single “Yoga mat” interest. This targeting option is safe to test and has the Yoga lovers we are looking for.

Another targeting example which I think is a bit better and more precise:

Women of the same age but this time combined with different yoga practice styles. These interests are more precise than the general “Yoga mat” interest – A yoga mat is not just for yoga and people use it for other stuff too.

To Sum It Up:

I hoped you liked my product picks and I hope my tips and targeting suggestions will help you to turn this products into winners. There’s a possibility one(or maybe all) of these products is on Ecomhunt so try to search for it to check its data.

You may find something useful like previous ad which can help you a lot if you decide to sell the same product 😉

Good luck!
