Microsoft Bing and Shopify now integrated

The integration between Microsoft Bing and Shopify is now active with Bing Shopping and Bing Search results, the company announced on Tuesday.

It is possible to click “Buy Now” on a search result and go directly to the cart page.

Microsoft announced the plan in October, and now the integration is live.

“With the integration of Shopify, you will now have access to millions of merchants to select from. And when you get that perfect set of ‘boho solid colored pajamas,’ just click the ‘Buy Now’ link to reach the shopping cart page directly – one less step to complete your shopping,” the company said in a statement.

“Merchants can quickly connect through the Microsoft Channel using their Microsoft Advertising account or sign up for a new one in few easy steps,” it said.

Brands are using TikTok more than ever because it has over 1 billion users and its ability to make an ad appear natural.

According to a report in The New York Times on Tuesday, TikTok is working to make the platform better for marketers who value the social media platform for its addictive algorithm.

“Brands have moved from just testing out TikTok to making it a budget line item or creating dedicated campaigns for TikTok specifically,” Krishna Subramanian, a founder of the influencer marketing firm Captiv8, told The New York Times.

According to the report, TikTok shared information with advertisers stating that 18 to 24-year-olds watch an average of more than 233 TikToks per day and that women aged 25 to 34 spent an average of one hour on the app per day.

The report says that brands are taking advantage of the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt trend and launching giveaways tagged #TikTokMadeMeGiftIt.

Instagram reaches 2 billion monthly users

Instagram surpassed two billion monthly active users worldwide in October, employees told CNBC.

The last time Facebook revealed Instagram numbers was in 2018, when it reached over one billion users. This comes as TikTok is competing with Instagram for users.

TikTok was installed 596.1 million times globally this year which is more than Instagram’s 570.7 million installations, according to Sensor Tower.

“TikTok did an extraordinarily good job of winning at that youngest demographic over the past four or five years,” said Daniel Newman, principal analyst at Futurum Research, according to the report.

“It did to video sharing and short-video sharing what Snap did to messaging and disrupting that particular demographic,”” he said.

Instagram released a new feature called “Reels Visual Replies” that allows users to reply to comments on posts.

In order to sell this name necklace, you’ll need to have a custom field on your product page, limited by amount of characters allowed, to quickly allow your customers enter their desired writing and proceed to checkout.

If you can’t think or a really cool ad to sell this product, then I recommend having this product as an upsell on your store. Or as a remarketing type of product where you recommend it to your already existing customers.
