The United States isn’t the only country considering TikTok bans. Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France each have over 15 million TikTok users.
According to a report by Insider Intelligence/eMarketer, the first statewide TikTok ban in the United States was signed into law in Montana last week, but its validity is still being debated.
If the remainder of the United States or any of the aforementioned countries succeed in removing TikTok, Instagram and YouTube would benefit.
The US has 102.4 million TikTok users, followed by Japan, the UK, Germany, and France. After France, there is Italy with 12.7 million users, Canada with 9, and Australia with 3.4.
