The list of the top ten downloaded apps in the UK in 2022 was led by TikTok. Interestingly, no other traditional social media giant such as Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube made the list.
According to a report by data ai, the second most downloaded app was WhatsApp, followed in third place by Vinted, a reselling shopping app.
In fourth place was BeReal, a social media network. Then there was the NHS App of the National Medical Service, Microsoft Teams, McDonald’s UK, Disney, Tesco Groceries, and Asda Rewards, a coupon shopping app.
The data was based on downloads using iOS App Store and Googe Play.
