YouTube is the most popular place to watch live content among US social media video platforms, according to an article by Insider Intelligence/eMarketer.
YouTube had 52% of viewers in the top place, with Facebook in second with 42.6%.
Instagram and TikTok were tied for third place with 33.4%. Then is Snapchat with 14.8% of video viewers, followed by Twitter with 11.6%, Twitch with 7.1%, and Pinterest with 6.2%.
However, YouTube dropped to second place among younger viewers, and TikTok took the top spot among 16 to 24-year-olds. Facebook is the leading app for live streaming viewers between 25 and 44.
