Pinterest is one of the most underutilized social media tools for company promotion.
The lack of popularity, however, is not owing to a lack of promise, according to an article in Search Engine Journal.
When used correctly, Pinterest can bring enormous value to the success of an e-commerce brand.
Pinterest has a lot of potential, but it has its own strategy. It is distinct from other social platforms and requires a particular approach to succeed.
“So, is it worth going into Pinterest if you already have a Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok account? Yes, in most cases,” stated the article.
“80% of weekly Pinterest users have discovered a new brand or product via Pinterest,” and 55% use the app to search for products.
Pinterest has also been testing an in-app checkout function, allowing shoppers to make their purchases without leaving the app.
