The popularity of short videos on social media networks is set to peak, according to Insider Intelligence/eMarketer data.

Time spent on video is set to plateau in 2024 and next year as messaging gains traction, predicted experts in Insider Intelligence’s Behind the Numbers podcast.

Video is set to make up 58.8% of social network activities this year, while 41.2% will be spent doing other activities. Next year, 60.1% of time is predicted to be spent on video and 39.9% on other social network activities.
