Instagram is developing a new feature that will allow you to easily see your most recently shared Reels. This enables users to reshare a Video they enjoyed with another friend at a later time.
In a statement, the company confirmed the development of this feature to TechCrunch.
“We’re rolling out improvements to how you can search for and rediscover Reels that were previously shared in messages,” a Meta spokesperson told TechCrunch.
It’s hardly surprising that Instagram has not incorporated other types of posts, given that the business has been doubling down on short videos in recent years.
This new trial aims to keep you and your friends sharing and watching short videos regularly.
