Advertisers may predict where to target generational advertisements by studying where each group spends its time and how their needs change over time.
According to Insider Intelligence/eMarketer, Millennials comprise the largest age group of users on 9 of the 11 platforms tracked by generation.

However, Gen Z is more present on Disney+, YouTube, Instagram, and X. Gen Z is defined by those born from 1997-2012.
Gen X is defined as those born from 1965 to 1980 and Millennials from 1981 to 1996. Baby boomers are those born from 1946 to 1964.
